An owner-run venue in the heart of Rome's River Arts district — eight distinct spaces, one easy address.
River Arts Venue sits on 5th Avenue — the heart of downtown Rome's River Arts district. Over the past five years this stretch has come alive, as the Foundry Bar, local shops, studios, and restaurants turned 5th Avenue into one of the city's most exciting corners — a community of neighboring businesses all rooting for one another to thrive.
It's a fitting home. Rome sits where the Etowah and Oostanaula rivers meet to form the Coosa — three rivers, seven hills, and a walkable historic downtown just minutes from Broad Street and the riverfront Heritage Trail.
River Arts Venue is the vision of Rome local Ivy Holt Morris and her husband, Lance. They saw what the city was missing: flexible, multi-use space that could shift from a birthday party or concert to a graduation, an engagement party, or a Monday-morning board meeting — without anyone having to drive out of town for it.
So they built a space for everyone — and a business that champions its neighbors. The Morrises are proud to be part of 5th Avenue's revival, cheering on the shops, studios, and restaurants around them as the district keeps growing.
"It's rare to find a space that is both highly functional and genuinely enjoyable to spend time in. The owners have created something special that fills a wide range of needs for businesses, organizations, and individuals alike."
