An off-site that works

A neutral room beats the same four walls

People learn differently when they leave the office. New-hire onboarding, a compliance refresher, a leadership workshop, sales enablement — pull the team to a dedicated space downtown and the phones stop, the side conversations quiet down, and the day actually lands. River Arts Venue gives Rome employers that room without a drive to Atlanta or a hotel ballroom you have to overbook.

The Meeting Room is built for focus: classroom seating for 50, a wall-mounted TV for slides and demos, daylight windows so no one fades by mid-afternoon, and a coffee and refreshment station to keep the energy up. Need to bring the whole company together? The Big Room scales to 200 for an all-hands or kickoff. Running parallel tracks? Use the Loft and Signing Office as breakouts. And when it's lunchtime, the full kitchen means a caterer can serve right here — no piling everyone into cars.

Corporate training FAQs

How many people fit, and how can the room be set up?

The Meeting Room seats 50 classroom-style and holds 75 for a standing reception, so it suits most training cohorts and team workshops. Arrange it in rows for a lecture, U-shape for discussion, or pods for breakout exercises. When you need to gather everyone, the Big Room scales to 200 for a company-wide all-hands.

What about a screen, AV, and wifi for slides?

The Meeting Room has a wall-mounted TV for slides, demos, and video calls, plus wifi throughout for cloud LMS platforms and live remote attendees. Bring your laptop and clicker and you're ready to present.

Can we get a catered lunch, and is there a kitchen?

Yes. A refreshment station with coffee keeps the morning moving, and the Event Space includes a full kitchen, so your caterer can stage and serve a working lunch on-site without anyone leaving the building.

Do you offer full-day rates or hourly?

For full-day sessions, Monday through Thursday daytime block rates are the economical choice — reserve a morning, midday, or full-day window rather than paying by the hour. Friday through Sunday the Meeting Room books hourly with a three-hour minimum.

Are there breakout rooms for smaller groups?

Yes. The Signing Office is a private spot for a 1:1 coaching session or a small team huddle, and the Loft upstairs gives a second group room for parallel tracks. Pair them with the Meeting Room to run a main session and breakouts at the same time.

Where are you, and what about parking?

River Arts Venue is at 252 N 5th Ave in downtown Rome, GA, in the River District — minutes from Atrium Health Floyd and the manufacturing corridor, with parking nearby and coffee shops and lunch spots a short walk away on Broad Street.

Can we book recurring weekly training?

Yes — recurring weekly training and standing sessions are welcome. Reserve dates up to a year ahead, send your schedule online, and we'll confirm the series.
