Not Your Living Room, and Not a Rented Hall Either

Hosting a shower at home means moving furniture and hiding the laundry before guests arrive. Renting a generic hall means a blank room and a rental company that disappears once the tables are dropped off. River Arts Venue is the middle ground: a real, finished space in the heart of downtown Rome with the character already built in, arched beams, polished floors, and warm light, so the room does some of the decorating for you.

It also comes with the parts that are easy to forget until the day of: a full kitchen for the caterer or the cake, the Big Room's upstairs Loft for a smaller gathering during your event, and one downtown address within walking distance of Broad Street's restaurants and hotels for any guests visiting from out of town.

Seats 50, with a wall-mounted screen for a slideshow, tribute video, or the ultrasound pictures. A polished option for a mid-size shower or milestone party.

What a Shower or Party Here Costs

There is no one-size-fits-all package, since a ten-person shower and a 200-guest quinceañera do not need the same room. The Meeting Room is $85 an hour Monday through Thursday and $100 Friday through Sunday, and the whole building is $185 and $200, both with a three-hour minimum.

The Meeting Room is booked by the hour, any day of the week, a good fit for a shower or a small milestone gathering. The whole building, with the Big Room and the Loft included, is also booked by the hour, any day of the week. Tell us your date and guest count, and we will point you to the right room and a quote.

How far ahead should I book?

You can reserve up to a year ahead, and popular weekend dates go first, especially around graduation season in May and December. Request your date online as soon as you have one in mind.

Do you host celebrations for families outside of Rome?

Yes. Families across Northwest Georgia, including Adairsville, Rockmart, Calhoun, Cartersville, Dalton, and Dallas, and the north Atlanta metro towns of Acworth, Kennesaw, Canton, Jasper, Woodstock, and Marietta, travel in for a celebration downtown.
